About Elizabeth:

"Create Your Story"  has helped me go down into the basement of myself and pull my art back up to the light and onto the page. Now I can throw open the windows and doors and enjoy the art light streaming in and out of me. You are a treasure".

Ashley

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for the work that you have done and for the Create Your Story class. I left class last night so proud to be a woman and so thankful to have gotten to know, however so briefly, such wonderful women over the past 6 weeks. So much wisdom and strength. It was so refreshing to tap into and reconnect with that side of us all that we all seem to have put away, stifled, ignored and/or disregarded for so many years. To learn that I am not alone in my searchings and struggles was valuable beyond words".

Janna

"Working with Elizabeth Creates safety for creativity."

Barbara Deutsch, The Deutsch Approach

"I know I sound like a broken record but I just can't tell you how inspired these classes are to me.  All the ladies were very inspiring and the one spoke and teared up about the dumpster made me tear up too.  Your classes are truly therapy in the best way!"

Lisa A.

“Elizabeth Decker’s workshop with her warm, supportive, and encouraging presence, was the perfect response to my yearning for a renewed sense of creativity and a deeper connection with my own voice. Elizabeth creates a safe place where women can explore their own creative voices through writing and visual art, all while meditating and laughing together, sometimes in the light and sometimes in the darkness. I plan to attend all of her workshops!”

Carol

"My 13 year old sister went to work with Elizabeth for a week in June. My family and I have always known that my sister is talented but did not know how best to foster it or boost her artistic self-esteem. Elizabeth has a wonderful gift for connecting with girls, challenging them with new art mediums, and helping them to become excited about art and expressing themselves through different techniques. My sister now has a renewed excitement about art and has increased courage to continue to develop her skills and express herself."

Kimberly

"I loved Elizabeth's workshop!  She created a beautiful evening with a group fo women seeking authenticity.  It was fun, contemplative and creative.  Looking forward to participating again."

Deb. Cardinal
Medical Practitioner

"I love Elizabeth Decker's work, not only as an artist but as a facilitator. She does with art and writing what I do with movement.... uses it as potent healing. This workshop will be wonderful!"

"Experience for me totally sent me in to another space. Elizabeth has an incredible gift of putting one into a creative mood making you totally relaxed and inspiring you to start writing possibly a memory you hadn’t thought of for years and then because it was snowing let us think of your first memory about snow. It was truly wonderful and I truly hope many more people here in Austin will come to elizabeth’s Workshops and experience all the feelings elizabeth puts out. It should not be missed."

Transforming Evening with Elizabeth Decker and Create Your Story! Evening began with the miracle of snow in Austin, TX, and the miracles continued lead by Elizabeth's talent to transmit our minds to a relaxed place where we began our first inspired writings: I am....
It didn't stop there. We went deeper. Wrote memories - shared our story while the snow continued and Elizabeth guided us non painters to play and created with color. I used brushes and my fingers. Was I 3 or 53 last night?
Thank you everyone for sharing and Elizabeth for opening my soul. AGAIN!!"

Deborah R.
Chief Council, Toyota
Austin

"The workshop was just as you described it at the Moral Injury Conference last November, so in that respect, it was just what I expected. What was totally unexpected (for me, anyway) was that I enjoyed it so much. I know the others enjoyed it, because they all told me how much fun they had
(I didn’t use the word fun, they did). The entire experience brought me to a new place with my new vet community".

Kevin D. Ross

“My experience was amazing. I was literally healed physically and my mind and heart were opened and engaged. I’m looking forward to using these tools to continue my journey of spiritual growth. I’ll be here in June!”
Stephanie, Austin, TX

"Elizabeth Decker's Create Your Story changed the lives of the veterans who participated, myself included. We were all a little nervous about writing and painting, but Elizabeth encouraged and challenged us to take risks and to share what was inside us. It was truly amazing to see how eagerly the veterans in my group shared their stories and how enthusiastic they were about future events. Elizabeth has a gift for this work and the world desperately needs this gift".
